5 Reasons You Will Love these Horseware Riding Tights

Are you always buying new riding pants only to find that you don’t love them? Do you want a riding pant that is comfortable to wear even when it’s hot outside?

You need to be comfortable and able to move around and ride. But you also need something that will keep you cool and able to do all your barn chores as well.

If you’re anything like me, you’ve bought many riding breeches over the years trying to find the perfect fit. I’ve tried expensive breeches, cheap breeches, and everything in between. In the summer especially, I really want something that will keep me cool, and often find myself just leaving on shorts to ride (but as you all know that comes with a myriad of problems as well).

Welcome the new Horseware Riding Tights.

Here are 5 reasons you will love these riding tights.

They feel like yoga pants.

If you’ve found yourself riding in your yoga pants, you probably shouldn’t because they are not designed to ride in. They likely don’t have anything to grip onto the saddle and aren’t designed for the strains of sitting in a saddle.

But, these Horseware tights feel like you could go right from the barn to the yoga studio without changing. They are soft and stretchy and hug your body like a great pair of leggings.

They are lightweight and comfortable in the heat.

These are definitely a warm weather pair of riding pants. The fabric is wicking and feels like a good sport legging. They are so much more comfortable than thick riding tights when you are trying to stay cool.

The material is light and elastic and has mesh inserts for airflow – making them much cooler than a thick cotton riding pant! There is also less bulk inside your boots due to the lightweight design and fabric.

They have POCKETS!!

I am always frustrated by women’s pants in general and the lack of pockets. These Horseware Tights come with two pockets (one on each thigh), big enough to hold a non-giant smartphone. Or treats. Or anything you want. Can you tell I like pockets?

They are flattering.

The patterns, the strategically placed seams, the fabric – all of these things contribute to a pair of pants that simply looks good on your body. They also have a mid-to-high waistband, which keeps everything tucked in.

You can go out in public in these tights and everyday people are going to think you are wearing a cute pair of yoga leggings, not riding pants! The patterned design also hides panty lines extremely well, so if you don’t want a wedgie, go ahead and wear whatever underwear you’d like!

They are machine washable.

No special washing instructions or special detergents. Throw them in and hang to dry (things last longer when you hang them, BTW). So these comfortable pants are easy to wear and easy to care for. It is best to wash them without anything that could snag the mesh inserts!

I highly recommend these pants for staying cool and comfortable when riding your horse.
